Afatinib - Dosage and How to Use

How should Afatinib be used?

​It should be taken on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before or 3 hours after food. Take it around the same time each day.

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose of Afatinib, you can take it as soon as you remember if there is at least 8 hours before the next dose. However, if there is less than 8 hours before the next dose, skip the dose and take the next dose at the usual time. Do not double dose.

What should I do if I overdose?

​If you overdose on this medicine, inform your doctor immediately.
