Myelodysplastic Syndrome - Symptoms

​The symptoms from MDS are due to the low blood counts and manifest as follows:

  • Low red blood cell or anaemia: tiredness, breathlessness, light headedness 
  • Low white blood cell: infection 
  • Low platelet: easy bruising, bleeding
