The NNI Team
Overview of Laboratory
The long term primary goal of my lab is to elucidate the molecular events underlying major neurodegenerative diseases, particularly in Parkinson Disease (PD), with the view to develop novel therapies aimed at effectively treating these debilitating disorders. We adopt a multi-pronged approach, including the use of different disease models, as well as a multidisciplinary approach (including collaborations with chemists and engineers), to achieve our objectives. To realise this goal progressively, our research work focuses on achieving the following inter-related objectives:
