A tele-enquiry is a short video call with a doctor using a secure platform. It may be offered to patients who live overseas before they travel to Singapore for a consultation at the NNI Neuroscience Clinic (NSOC) (NNI@TTSH).
Tele-enquiry is intended for information-gathering and discussion to assess whether in-person consultation and treatment in Singapore may be suitable for people residing overseas. It helps our doctors understand your medical condition and plan for your visit. It is not a medical consultation.

During the call, our doctors will need accurate and complete information from you to have a meaningful discussion. You may be asked to provide additional information or come to Singapore for an in-person consultation, if needed.
No, tele-enquiry cannot be requested by patients.
NNI will review your referral information first. If suitable, you may be offered a tele-enquiry to help gather information and plan your visit for an in-person consultation at the NNI Neuroscience Clinic (NSOC) (NNI@TTSH).
The session takes approximately 15 minutes.

As a tele-enquiry session is not a medical consultation, we will not be able to examine you or provide a definitive diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, medical certificate or medical report. If you have new or worsening symptoms, please seek medical advice from your local doctor.
For all medical emergencies or if you feel unwell, do not proceed with Tele-enquiry. Please seek immediate medical care at your nearest healthcare facility.
We seek your understanding, as there may be a delay due to the previous appointment.
Please wait in the Zoom Waiting Room. Should there be a disruption to the tele-enquiry session, our staff will assist with rescheduling the appointment if needed.
If further assessment is appropriate, you may be offered a face-to-face consultation at NSOC (NNI@TTSH) in Singapore. Our staff will update you on the next appointment details via email. Any diagnosis and treatment recommendations can only be provided after an in-person consultation and assessment at NNI.

To maintain confidentiality and privacy, tele-enquiry sessions are not recorded.
Personal Data collected, used, or disclosed will be kept confidential. There will be no screenshots, photographs, audio or video recordings (“Recordings”) taken during a tele-enquiry session by any means without prior agreement.
