Profile
Dr Beatrix Wong is a Consultant with the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH). Dr Wong completed her undergraduate studies in Monash University, Melbourne in 2010. She later earned postgraduate qualifications from both the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. She is currently a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, specialising in Geriatric Medicine with a particular focus on falls, orthogeriatrics, frailty, osteoporosis, and cognition.
Dr Wong is deeply committed to helping older adults age comfortably at home, ensuring they enjoy their later years through preventive, holistic, and well-coordinated care. Her clinical and research interests align with this goal, including falls prevention, frailty, hip fracture care, quality improvement and community care.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Wong is passionate about medical education. She has been actively involved in teaching both undergraduate students and postgraduate trainees in Senior Residency Programmes for Geriatric Medicine.
