Dr Crystal Jing Jing Yeo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (Board Certified in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine), and American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (Board Certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Neuromuscular Ultrasound). She specialises in the care of patients with Neuromuscular diseases, and in nerve conductions, electromyography (NCS/EMG) and neuromuscular ultrasound.
She graduated from the University of Cambridge MB/PhD programme with Distinction in Medicine, PhD in Immunology and Honours for top performance, including The Lewin Prize, Balfour Prize and Caroline Turle Prize. She completed her Neurology residency at Weil Cornell Medicine/Houston Methodist Hospital, and Neuromuscular fellowship at Harvard University/Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. She is Adjunct Associate Professor in Neurology (Neuromuscular Disease) at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University, Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition, University of Aberdeen, Newnham Associate at the University of Cambridge, Associate Staff at Boston Children’s Hospital, and directs the Translational Neuromuscular Medicine Laboratory at A*STAR.
Dr Yeo is also alumnus of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Palatucci Advocacy Leadership Forum, AAN Live Well Lead Well Leadership Program, Harvard Women in Leadership Course, and serves on the AAN Education Pipeline Subcommittee. She has been invited to give talks and interviews to the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Neurological Association, AAN, ACGME, US Women Neurologists Group, and local and international universities. She is involved in lecturing medical and graduate students at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and National University of Singapore.
