Clin Asst Prof Robin Pillay

​Dr Robin Pillay is Senior Consultant, Department of Neurosurgery at the National Neuroscience Institute.

He completed a joint Neurosurgery Residency Training in Cape Town, South Africa and London, England, and a Spine Fellowship Training in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Dr Pillay was appointed Joint Consultant in Spine and Neurosurgery with the Department of Orthopaedics, Royal Liverpool University Hospital and Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Liverpool, United Kingdom.

From 2015 - 2016, Dr Pillay was on sabbatical with the Department of Neurosurgery, Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital, Queensland, Australia, where he was a staff specialist. After which, he returned to the Walton Centre.

Dr Pillay sub-specialises in spine surgery with a special interest in craniocervical spine conditions.
