About Doctor

Dr Lim is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the National Neuroscience Institute. He completed his Neurosurgical Residency training at the institute and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Dr Lim specialises in Skull Base Neurosurgery, with experience in both open and endoscopic-assisted techniques for the treatment of complex brain tumours and various cranial conditions. He is particularly interested in advancing surgical care through operative technique, a deep understanding of anatomy, and the adoption of Enhanced Recovery Protocols to improve patient outcomes.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Lim is actively involved in research and has published widely in the field of neurosurgery. He also serves as a reviewer for several major neurosurgical and medical journals. Passionate about education and mentorship, he regularly teaches and participates as invited faculty in local and international educational courses, contributing to the training of the next generation of doctors.
