About Doctor

Dr Tan Zhibin is a Consultant in the Department of Neurology at the National Neuroscience Institute. He sees general neurology and epilepsy patients, and is currently serving as Deputy Director of the NNI Epilepsy and Sleep Medicine Clinical Programme.

Dr Tan is a keen educator and currently serves as Associate Programme Director for the SingHealth Neurology Residency programme. He had himself graduated from SingHealth Residency in 2023 as the institution’s overall valedictorian for that year. He also serves as faculty in the Residents as Future Teachers (RaFT) programme of SingHealth Academy.

Dr Tan has research interests in the field of epilepsy and pharmacogenomics. He is currently Principal Investigator of a few projects. In addition, he is involved in medical informatics, being a member of the SingHealth Epic Neurology Specialty Content Workgroup
