Dr Joy Vijayan

​Dr Vijayan completed his basic medical training in India. He attained his Membership from the Royal College of Physicians of UK in 2011 and subsequently completed training in Neurology from the National University Hospital, Singapore in 2016. He completed his Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders from the University of Toronto, Canada in 2020. He worked as a Consultant in the Neurology Division of the National University Hospital till the end of 2023. Prior to coming to Singapore, he held faculty positions at the Christian Medical College, Vellore and the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore. He is a diplomate of the European Board of Neurology and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is a Follow of the Academy of Medicine (Singapore) and the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburg). He has more than 20 years of experience working in Neurology.  He has a keen interest in disorders of the peripheral nerves and focal neuropathies and plexopathies.
