Dr Koh Yeow Hoay is a Senior Consultant Neurologist at the National Neuroscience Institute and serves as Head, Department of Neurology at the Changi General Hospital. Dr Koh sees patients at both Changi General Hospital (NNI@CGH) and Singapore General Hospital (NNI@SGH).
Dr Koh graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Malaya in 2004. He obtained a Membership of the Royal College of Physicians from the United Kingdom (MRCP UK) in 2009 and completed his Advanced Specialist Training in Neurology at Singapore General Hospital in 2014. He underwent his fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology and Movement Disorder in University of Toronto, Canada.
His sub-specialty interest is Clinical Neurophysiology and Movement Disorders, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM). He is an Clinical Assistant Professor in Duke-NUS Medical School, and clinical lecturer of the 3 medical schools in Singapore (Duke-NUS Medical School, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine). He is also a Clinical Core Faculty member of the SingHealth Residency programme for Internal Medicine Residency Training, site director for the senior residency programme for geriatric medicine, and Clinical Physician Faculty Member (CPFM) of SingHealth Neurology Residency Programme.
