Dr Sim Jingwei is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Neurology, National Neuroscience Institute. Dr Sim completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2021, followed by Neurology senior residency training in 2025. She holds a doctorate from the University of Cambridge, in which she investigated oxygen sensing pathways in cells and organs. She is curious about neuro-palliative care, prognostication in neurodegenerative disorders, acute disorders of cognition and behavioural neurology. She believes in patient-centred care that is both compassionate and commonsensical. In addition, she appreciates museums, visual art and long walks.
