BIOGRAPHY

Dr Louis Tan is a Consultant Neurologist at the National Neuroscience Institute in Singapore and a specialist in Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders. He trained with Dr Adrian Tan in Singapore and spent 2 years with the Parkinson's Institute in Sunnyvale, California, USA working with Drs William Langston, Daniel Togasaki and Caroline Tanner on a Movement Disorders Fellowship from 1999 to 2001. Dr Tan runs the Movement Disorders programme at the National Neuroscience Institute, Tan Tock Seng Campus. His research interests are in epidemiology, genetics and clinical studies in Parkinson's disease and movement disorders.
