Profile

Dr Yip is a Senior Consultant Neurologist working at the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI@SGH). After graduating with MBBS Honours, he trained in Singapore to become an accredited Neurologist. Subsequently, he further completed an Overseas Fellowship (HMDP) sub-specialising in Neuro-otology and vestibular disorders. Currently, he provides general neurology consultations, and is also the attending neurologist to the SGH multidisciplinary Vertigo clinic.

Dr Yip has academic teaching positions with Dukes-NUS Graduate school of medicine, Yong Loo Lin school of medicine and Lee Kong Chian school of medicine, and he is also core faculty member of the Neurology Senior Residents Training Program. He is instrumental for teaching vestibular neurology to both undergraduate students and post-graduate doctors. As a clinician, he is passionate about providing value-added treatment to patients with both central and peripheral vestibular disorders, and has received several service quality awards. Besides his clinical engagements, he is involved in both local and international vestibular research co-operations, leading to many publications and presentations.
