Profile

​Dr Carol Tham is a Senior Consultant Neurologist at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore.

Dr Tham received her medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 2006. She underwent basic specialist training in internal medicine, followed by advanced specialist training in neurology at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore.

After completing her specialist training in Singapore, she received the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award from Singhealth to pursue a one year clinical fellowship in stroke with the Calgary Stroke Program in Canada under the mentorship of Professor Andrew Demchuk.

Her clinical and research interests are in acute ischaemic stroke, young adults with stroke, reperfusion strategies, advanced neuroimaging and neurosonology.
