Since Singapore General Hospital’s (SGH) Community Nurses programme began in 2018, it has expanded its services beyond chronic disease and medication management. Community nurses now offer some specialised outpatient services, and they have been trained to perform dental and mental screening. Read about what else the programme offers within the convenience of the community in the latest issue of Singapore Health.
Also in the issue, take a quick quiz to test your knowledge of hepatitis and liver diseases; learn about why some people get the runs after taking a common antibiotic; and how to navigate SGH’s emergency department. Also read about a new risk prediction tool for coronary artery disease; Changi General Hospital’s new Performing Arts Medicine Clinic; the Diabetic Limb Salvage service at Sengkang General Hospital, and more!
