​​Dr Nithia Angamuthu graduated from University of Newcastle, United Kingdom with MBBS, Honours (Distinction) in 2009, during which she also completed an intercalated degree in BSc Genetics (1st Deg Hons). She obtained MRCP UK in 2013 before completing SingHealth Advanced Internal Medicine Senior Residency in 2018. She completed Advanced Specialist Training in Palliative Medicine in 2020.
