Ms Joanne Gao is an exercise specialist with Sport and Exercise Medicine Service at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. As an exercise specialist, she conducts clinical exercise sessions and testing to patients with vary medical conditions as part of her daily work. Some of these clinical work includes, planning, executing and supervising clinical exercise session and testing. Believing that exercise is medicine, she approaches sessions with patients holistically, educating and empowering them with knowledge an exercise through promoting physical activity and research.
