The Singapore Therapeutics Development Review (STDR)
The STDR aims to identify potential high-value drug discovery and development projects from the research community in Singapore, to render the right support and guidance to progress promising projects and to build a sustainable pipeline of drug discovery and development projects that is aligned to Singapore’s strategic interests. The STDR is administered by A*STAR in partnership with their strategic partners EDDC, SMART and NHIC.
In addition to receiving seed funding to develop their projects, researchers will receive mentorship and guidance from local and international drug development/biotech experts and entrepreneurs.
The STDR 2021 grant call will be launched on 30 September 2021. Further information will be released closer to the launch date. Check out our grant calendar for more info.

The 2021 STDR Symposium will feature presentations from STDR-funded projects that have gone on to spin off biotech companies as well as a fireside chat where various elements of biotech translation will be discussed. There will also be a presentation on administrative details of the STDR 2021 from the STDR Secretariat.
Please note that registration for the symposium will be restricted to 500 participants on a first come, first served basis.
