CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECTS

  • Community survey on the prevalance of neurological diseases in Singapore

This study will include 15000 Singaporeans above 50 years old residing in central Singapore. They will be screened for neurological diseases using a questionnaire, followed by a clinical examination. the target diseases are dementia, epilepsy, parkinsonism and stroke. The study is scheduled to run from early 2001 to end 2002.
