The range of educational and continuing medical education courses organised, both for the general public and medical professionals, as well as our affiliation with world renowned Institutions stand us in good stead to achieving our aim of becoming an international training institute of excellence in the field of neurosciences. The NNI also recognises that continuing medical education (CME) is important for knowledge and skills upgrading for primary care physicians. There are an on-going series of seminars and lectures, held throughout the year on different topics, with an emphasis on primary care and approach to neurological diseases. In addition, the NNI's Neurology Grand Rounds and MO lectures are also CME-accredited, so that we provide a comprehensive CME solution for both institution and primary care physicians. This is to ensure that the NNI maintains its position in the forefront of neurology CME in Singapore. Other services include the provision of long-term support and education to patients and their careers. Recognising that patient and public education are an integral component to recovery of illnesses, the Institute underscores its commitment to public education by organising seminars and exhibitions for the public on the various neurological diseases and their prevention.
