The 4th Singapore International Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Symposium will be held from 26 to 27 March 2010. This Symposium follows our previous successful Symposia in 2002, 2003 and 2005 each attended by over 200 participants. In 2007, the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) together with the Movement Disorder Society-Asian Oceanian Section organised the 1st Asian and Oceanian Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Congress which was attended by more than 500 participants.
We have arranged an exciting scientific meeting which focuses on the genetics, pathogenesis, diagnosis and management of Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders. There will be plenary sessions, parallel sessions and video presentations covering all the major aspects. We are privileged to have as Faculty of this meeting, many renowned international speakers and local experts to bring the latest in the understanding and management of Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders.
This meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about the latest research and perspectives, to listen to renowned speakers, and to be exposed to the most-up-to-date information in the field of Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders.
We welcome all medical professionals; doctors, researchers, nurses, rehabilitation therapists and other allied health professionals from Singapore and the region to attend this meeting. We also invite you to submit interesting patient videos for the video presentations.
