Course Content
Comprehensive lecture series on endoscopic techniques and common neurosurgical approaches
Endoscopic Workshop
Featuring ‘hands on’ surgical opportunities with endoscopes and associated instruments on cadaveric heads and phantom models. Endoscopic third ventriculostomy, fenestration and transphenoidal surgery for pituitary tumors will be covered.
Neurosurgical Approaches Workshop
Featuring common cranial and cervical spine approaches on well prepared cadaveric specimens. Includes familiarization with powered dissection tools and surgical instruments. Cervical spine approaches and instrumentation will be included together with neuronavigation platforms with associated instruments.
